Mike Mower, our President is soon to celebrate 50 years as a Member and is a very active player, representing the Club in a number of teams. It was he who made an impromptu speech at our 75th Anniversary reunion, welcoming ex-members from far and wide including Roy Meiklem an ex-Captain and Life Member, who came in from Portugal.

Our other Life Member, Howard Allen, and his wife, Audrey, officiate at our Summer Championship prize giving, and Howard chairs our A.G.M. which this year was held on 15th February, 2000.

Currently, our memberships consists of 115 Senior and 83 Junior playing members - not bad on three artificial grass courts! There are a further 42 Social members who are mainly concerned with playing darts matches!
